On 10/20 we went to Moses Cone again for a fun hike. It was drizzling and very cloudy but it stopped raining by the time we got there and we had a gorgeous fall hike. We did about a four mile hike around the lake, through the maze, to the apple barn and then back to the lake. The scenery was gorgeous and we all had a great time! As we hiked Eli was all about carrying (and making sure Mama and Dada carried) colorful leaves. We also saw a beaver, Pie-billed Grebe and a bunch of Mallards in the lake.

very pretty...what again is "moses cone"? and where is it? also, love the snack pic where you can see lil emmett's tongue sticking out!! too cute!
Moses Cone is a park within the Blue Ridge Parkway just outside of Blowing Rock, it is really fun.
