Double Wagon Ride

These are pics from our second wagon ride at Morrow Mountain. The boys love riding together in their wagon (or according to Eli HIS wagon). We walked down to the river through the group camping area and had a great trip. Some of the pics are focused on the background but they are still cute.

Andrea and the boys made a trip to Durham one of the weekends I had to work and they had a bunch of fun. Eli learned some new skills, we are very excited.

Eli also learned to somersault while they were in Durham. As you will see by his bright red cheeks, the ransacked room and his need to rest he had a lot of fun!!!

J turns 31

We had a low key celebration for my birthday. We just hung around the house and then went out for dinner. It was a fun day with the fam.

He is still a little too short to ride it but he loves to scoot around!! He looks so big in his vest and hat! Unfortunately, no pics of Emmett.

Our House...

is a very fine house! We really like the house at Morrow Mountain. Andrea figured we should post some pics so, here are some pics of the house and our neighbors.

The "front". It points away from the road and into a field with mature Black Walnuts and Locust trees. I love it and cannot wait to see it when it is green outside, though I have heard the ticks and rattle snakes love the yard as well....

Baby Paige!!!

On Groundhog Day we welcomed baby Renfrow #3 into the world, Paige!! We traveled to Southern Pines to visit the Renfrow's in the hospital and then spent a few days there to watch the kids while Matt, Alison and Paige were in the hospital. We only have pics of the hospital because our Adventures in Babysitting were very eventful!!!

Captain Eli

Andrea found an awesome foam sword at the Target dollar spot and Eli loves it!! He plays pretend all the time. He loves to be Captain Eli Hook; Doc is usually Peter Pan, Mama is Wendy, Emmett is Michael and I am Mr or Dada Schmee. Here Andrea also made a pirate hat for him.

We have also discovered Jake and The Neverland Pirates on the Disney Channel and Eli says "Shiver me timbers" and "Ahoy, Maties".

Emmett Claps!

Emmett has learned to clap! It is a fun milestone and he even does it when you sing "If you're happy and you know it"...


This is one of the first days that he was clapping, he has gotten better at it since then!

Emmett in the Doorway Jumper

Emmett absolutely loves the doorway jumper. He is very fun to watch play in it, he doesn't jump up and down, he jumps out a few times and then swings back! It's great. Eli is also playing doctor trying to listening to my "heart beep" :-)
