In mid-December I got to fly with the NC Forest Service to scout the burn area for an upcoming burn in the park.  I was my first helicopter ride and it was awesome!  The pilot was really smooth and the scenery was great.

Work Christmas Party

We had a potluck dinner Christmas party at the park and it was a lot of fun.  We had a ton of food, the kids decorated some cookies and we had a very funny white elephant gift exchange.  It was a very casual and fun evening.
